About the Project

The MBTW Group was retained by the Town of Milton to assist in the redevelopment of Laurier Park. MBTW led the public engagement strategy which resulted in a community crafted and supported park design. The scope of work included the preparation of a park master plan, conceptual designs and engagement materials, detailed design, contract documents and construction administration services.

The park design, inspired the shape of leaves includes junior and senior playgrounds with themed play elements, seating area with benches, accessible picnic tables and shade structure, water play area, armourstone retaining/ seating walls, asphalt walkways, native tree plantings, sodded mounds, naturalized areas, drainage improvements and site furnishings.
