About the Project
The Town of Milton retained The MBTW Group to prepare a park design for Coulson Park, a 1.5 hectare park located on Milton. The park contains existing mature trees and is situated along the Sam Sherratt Trail, one of Milton’s longest off-road trail systems. The scope of design work included a new playground, shade structure, new asphalt walkways with lighting that connect to the existing trail system, preservation of the existing trees, site furnishings and tree plantings, as well as new asphalt re-surfacing, selective tree removals and drainage improvements for a large section of the existing Sam Sherratt Trail. The MBTW Group was responsible for the conceptual design, public presentation drawings, detailed design, arborist services, tendering and contract administration of this park in 2021.
