About the Project

Millers Pond is a distinctive 144-acre mixed-use residential development situated on the former Minisceongo Golf Club in Pomona, New York. Including over 20 acres of preserved scenic woodland and open space, the community also includes enhanced nature trails, and parkland that ensure the area’s natural heritage remains a focal point. Millers Pond is thoughtfully designed to respect the history of the site and its context by maintaining the historical/heritage elements as part of its identity and address diverse housing needs, offering 637 residential units in the form of townhouses and multifamily dwellings. In addition to its residential offerings, the development includes 67,000 square feet of commercial space, creating a vibrant community hub with retail, restaurants, and recreational facilities.

Key features of Millers Pond include a pedestrian-friendly Main Street, where buildings are close to the street, tree-lined avenues create a welcoming environment, and front-door porches and rear-lane garages promote a walkable, family-friendly neighborhood. The Parks and Open Spaces feature expansive green areas and preserved trails, with over 3.1 miles of multi-use paths connecting to the natural heritage system. These spaces are carefully integrated into the community, providing opportunities for views, recreation, and interaction with nature. At the heart of the development is the Village Center, a vibrant community feature that blends mixed-use buildings, a commercial hub, and the historic clubhouse, connected by a central promenade. The Village Center creates a lively gathering space and links residents to the surrounding green areas and trails. This family-focused, pedestrian-centric development prioritizes safe neighborhoods and celebrates both the natural and cultural legacy of the site.
