About the Project
The MBTW Group’s Golf Design division was retained by Crimson Ridge Inc. to provide a conceptual routing plan, construction drawings, approvals, construction supervision, and contract administration for the 6,800 yard, 18 hole Crimson Ridge Golf Course in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.
The 335 acre site is very picturesque with significant topography changes, meandering creeks and rock outcrops within a native deciduous and coniferous forest environment that is spread across the heartland of the Canadian Shield. Crimson Ridge was voted 3rd Best New Course in Ontario by Ontario Golf Magazine, while the layout has been nominated in 2003’s Best New Course Category by Golf Digest.
